How do I install Citrix Receiver/Citrix Workspace app?

If you want to connect to the cloud workstation using the native receiver, you'll have to install Citrix first.
This is the small piece of software you'll need to open the .ica files that initiates the connection towards your virtual machine. Without this software, the .ica files can't be used.

Note: As an alternative you can connect to your machine using the browser if you don't want to install the receiver.

How to install Citrix receiver for Windows:

• To install the receiver, go to https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
• Select Windows OS and click to download Citrix Workspace:
  
• You’ll be redirected to another page where you’ll get more details of the software you’ll be downloading
  Once the file is downloaded, double click it to open. This will launch the installer.
  
•  To install the software, click "Start"
  
•  Accept the license agreement & click "Install"
  
• Leave the "Enable single sign-on" unchecked
  
  
• Do not click "Add Account", please click"Finish".
  
• You have successfully installed the receiver.

How to install Citrix receiver for Mac

• To install the receiver, go to https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
• Select Mac OS and click to download Citrix Workspace:
  
• You’ll be redirected to another page where you’ll get more details of the software you’ll be downloading. Just click the download button again:
  
• Once the file is downloaded, click to open the installer
  
• To install the software, click next (fill in the administrator password if asked)
  
• Accept the license agreement & click "Install"
  
• Leave the ‘add account’ box unchecked
  
  Do not use your Cloudalize log in credentials as an account!
• Finish the installation process, and you have successfully installed the receiver
• The receiver will launch automatically when launching the .ica file
